OpenUpSA and ICA joined hands to host a transformative Data & Digital Workshop, aimed at empowering the youth and fostering active public participation in the Bergrivier Municipality development.
The workshop was an exciting opportunity for the youth of Bergrivier to delve into the world of data, digital technology, and public participation. Participants were not only introduced to the concept of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) but also learned how to leverage data to drive positive change within their community.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the introduction of a powerful tool created by OpenUpSA and ICA called the IDP Dashboard. This digital platform allows users to access and interact with the Bergrivier IDP in an innovative and user-friendly manner.
The youth enthusiastically engaged with the IDP Dashboard, exploring various aspects of their community’s development plan. This user-friendly tool made it easier than ever to understand the goals, priorities, and projects outlined in the IDP.
